Dan Killoren leads the Global Innovation Hub at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) where he directs EPRI’s innovation practice for member utilities. He is also responsible for launching EPRI’s Strategic Advisory Services practice, aimed at providing EPRI’s expertise inside tailored client engagements.

Dan brings over a decade of utility industry expertise in the areas of corporate strategy and innovation. Prior to joining EPRI, Dan worked in the Enterprise Innovation group at American Electric Power (AEP), leading technology and business model scouting and helping to craft AEP’s innovation and future of work strategies.

Dan started his career at Salt River Project (SRP), a water and power provider in Arizona, U.S.A. where he assumed roles of increasing responsibility, ultimately leading the Corporate Strategy team and directing SRP’s comprehensive strategy development process. Dan pursued his academic studies at Arizona State University, completing B.A. and Ph.D. degrees in History.
