Jill Schiaparelli is the CEO and Co-Founder of Avation Medical – a company focused on making the promise of neuromodulation more accessible to physicians and patients through wearable, digitally enabled technologies. Avation Medical’s first product, the Vivally System, is the first FDA cleared closed-loop wearable neuromodulation system with a mobile application to treat bladder conditions. Patient-friendly Vivally will disrupt the $20 billion market for urge incontinence and urinary urge by eliminating the need for surgery, implants and drugs.
Ms. Schiaparelli is passionate about bringing innovative medical technologies to markets to help improve the lives of patients. With more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, she has held leadership roles with major healthcare companies such as Johnson & Johnson and Baxter and has served as as an executive at high-growth, early-stage start-up companies such as ApaTech (UK), a company she helped sell to Baxter, and AxoGen, where she assisted their up-list to NASDAQ.
Most importantly, Jill is a Stage 3 breast cancer survivor who benefited greatly from innovative, life-saving treatments developed by start-up companies which put the patient first. Jill has an MBA in Finance and Business Management from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a BS in Finance and International Management from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
