Katy Farber serves as the OhioSE vice president. OhioSE is a regional economic development organization which is one of six regional partners to JobsOhio, Ohio’s private economic development organization.
Katy joined the team in October, 2012, as project manager covering nine counties in the south central and “western” part of the OhioSE 25 county region. Today she manages regional business development, talent, marketing and research initiatives for the organization.
A primary focus of her efforts are to manage the JobsOhio Vibrant Communities program, as well as coordinate and lead the Opportunity Appalachia program for the region. These two initiatives are both aimed at improving the OhioSE region’s downtown redevelopment efforts and strengthening the core of its communities to support new investment and jobs creation as well as improving the quality of life throughout the OhioSE region.
Katy is a native and current resident of Ross County, and a graduate of Ohio University. She and her husband also own and operate a small business in neighboring Highland County
