Eramet Marietta, Inc. is a subsidiary of Eramet Group, a metals and mining company based in Paris, France and has roots in the Mid-Ohio Valley dating back to the early 1950’s.
Eramet, a global mining and metallurgy group, is a key player in the extraction and recovery of metals (manganese, nickel, mineral sands) as well as the development and processing of high added-value alloys (manganese alloys and titanium alloys).
Eramet Marietta is only one of a very few manganese alloys manufacturers currently operating in the United States. The company prides itself on producing high quality products, advancing operational and environmental technologies, and always working safely first. Manganese alloys are a key component to produce carbon steel. As such, manganese alloys are essential in the construction and automobile industries.
Marc has grown in the Eramet group since he joined in 1995. He has built considerable expertise in the extraction, recovery and processing of metals including Manganese, Nickel and specialized metal powder through positions of increasing technical and managerial responsibilities leading to his current leadership position in Marietta. Throughout his assignments, he lived for extended periods in New Caledonia, Italy, France, and US.
Marc holds an engineering degree from the Mining School of Paris (France), and an MBA from INSEAD. He is fluent in French, English and Italian.
