Ted is a member of the Barnes & Thornburg Law firm where he helps fortune companies, founders and entrepreneurs build strategies for business growth, market expansion, and economic development. Ted is a respected leader with over 30 years experience in the private and public sectors of the economy. Prior to joining the firm, Ted was senior vice president for public affairs at Starbucks, where he co-led the company’s external affairs portfolio in the U.S., the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Canada. He also served for over 18 years as an executive leader for the former L Brands Corp., a global retailer of apparel and personal care products.

Ted began his career as an Assistant United States Attorney and has served as senior counsel to a former Ohio Governor and State Attorney General.

Ted is an advocate for philanthropic causes in the community and throughout his career has served on the boards of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, The Make a Wish Foundation, The Ohio State University Wexner Center Development Board for Behavior Health and Wellness, and the OSU Alumni Board.

Ted earned his undergraduate degree from Wittenberg University and his masters’ credentials in law and sports management from The Ohio State University. Ted and his wife reside in Ohio and have three children.
